Found this on Craigslist the other day when I actually had some cash in my pocket.

Great starting point, FOC seams to be the key with these.

I would start with a engine cleaning inside and out, new fuel lines, filter, air filter ,fuel tank and glow plug

Do you have any other nitro RCs or is this your first?

This is my first nitro. After having bad luck with run times on battery, I decided 10 years later to get a nitro.

Excellent idea. I will tear her down and give her some TLC before I even fire her up.

Tty in the maxx thread buddy, we would like to help you through the process, the main reason why people diss nitro is simply because of lack of experiance, here at rcnt we all wanna get u goin in the right direction so just ask man, even if it seems like a stupid question

+1 On what Hotrod said. People give up on nitro to easily because they do not want to put the effort into learning how to properly tune and diagnose problems or do the work that's required to keep a nitro running properly.
