have used it on few bodies and it does help,even if you crack it the tape will stop it from cracking more and also you won't get any scratches from the inside like I often did in my other rigs...
it's worth the hassle,it only takes about 5 minutes and keeps the body in great condition for very long time.

thanks,will see,may trade it for Baja 5b...
the price of good LiPo's which be safe to use is about £80 each and then balanced charger etc is another £100,I can't afford that much (I think,will see how things goes)

nice car mate the hpi savage range is 1 of the best out there at the moment and the flux does back flips from standing and i hope u have loadz of funn with super savage

didn't have any fun with it yet,still saving up for batteries and charger etc...
 
Buy another lid cause that one is way to pretty to scratch up :hehe: Nice rig and can't wait to see some action vids.

I could get Baja 5b for that much,damn it!

the only reason that I have ordered NiMh batteries is safety...
LiPo's are risky and I don't wanna risk my Flux but also cause the price.

the Mamba Monster Max A rating required is high which is hard to get...
the key to calculate A rating of LiPo's and A rating required on chosen LiPo's :

Ex: 5000mah x 20C = 5x20 = 100A

As a general rule of thumb to protect the MMM esc use the following:

For 6S you want = (or greater than) 100A rating
For 5S you want = (or greater than) 125A rating
For 4S you want = (or greater than) 150A rating
 
I'm looking for info on charge settings for my lipos. I bought a flux today and a set of enerland 2S 25C 5100 ma batteries. I got the hyperion charger and man I've got some learning to do. anyone know any good links for charge settings? I've managed to get em charged once so far and as far as performance....well it's my first electric truck and it flat out smokes any of my nitro toys. Love it
