Nice Rig, and it's good to see that your tags are not exspired, hate to see alpine pull you over for expired tags, LOL!!!

I like your wheelie bar...I just put my OS .21tm in my New 4908, But havent had time to run it...Maybe tomorrow after work

The bar is gone bye-bye. It was good for a bit then I tore it off driving off road I guess, it was a trinity bar and was kind of surprized. AllI can say it screams and has taken some licks that I thought would have broke somethind but never did. I blew my buddies MT2 away today a few times. And bashed hell of hard:D

I ran mine up and down the street tonight....its crazy at times the thing will blow the tires off and then it at times it will wheelie hard, those poor wheelie bars... I just need alittle more tuning and its on like Donkey Kong

I know that truck! I have one :)

Tho' mine doesn't have an aluminum wheelie bar, just the stock one.. which reminds me, since you said you tore yours off... what exactly is it suppose to do? When it's down it gets in the way, so I pop it up and can get a good wheelie going but then if I jump it off a clump of weeds or a rut it always pops back down. Does it serve any real purpose??

they keep the truck from flipping over when it has the front wheels off the ground. they only allow it to pull the front wheels until it hits the ground. they also make it a lot easier to keep the wheely going down the road.

The wheelie bar is mainly for doing wheelies in parking lots and on streets. When I go off road I take it off, because it just gets in the way as you have found out.

telling the truth I get some wheel stands but I keep the back end nice and soft with good re coil. That way I avoid wheelies they make me wreck more than anything.

I use 50 weight oil in my rear with some blue trinity springs. They are red in the pics.

I went and got a new temp gauge since I busted my old one and I was only running at the most 253 that shocked me I thought it would be a bit hotter. And I have checked my temps on my other Rigs but never on this engine. Now that I no where its running I am going to run the crap out of it. I also must say I think all my years with Mototcycles and cars have paid off on my tuning abilitys, So those of you just starting tuning, take your time it can be a major pain.

your telling me about the major pain of tuning, and finding the right settings. I'm brand new to nitro, and I've just got my running and doing the break in, and now all of a sudden I can't hardly run it fast with out it getting too hot, and thin smoke coming out of the engine. I mean I can do the short jerks and stuff like that, but when it comes to a set speed, or a little fastness, it seems to get too hot. Like last night, I thought I was at the break in point of being able to go full throttle, and while driving it, I saw a thing of fire come out of the exhaust or somewhere! I dunno where it came from, but from there I brought it in closer, and it was smoking a little, and so it stopped and I checked the temp and it was 415! :whhooo:

Check for air leaks in hoses and make sure it is tight,. Turn LSN flush to housing and try 4 turns on HSN and see what happens. Thats where my t maxx 3.3 is set 95% of the time and I ran mine in 90% humidy and 87 degrees and was temping 225-235. Just see what happens after checking and these settings.

Well I wont be checking anything, for at least a while. Today I broke the pull start string... So once I get the a new one ordered I will try those, are those settings safe if I'm still on the break in process? And one more question, what do you mean by the "housing?" Sorry I'm new to Nitro, and this is my first Nitro truck, I've only had a chance to run it 2 days so far.

Yhea it is safe. Ang the LSN just needs to be flush with the fitting it is in, I can't think of whaat its called. But just be flush or even with the housing the screw is in.
