I've only had one 15 minute race with it so far. I decided to start it on someone elses starter box right beside the track and his box wouldn't turn the damn thing over. Damn RB's with their tight p/s. Anyways, by the time I ran to my pit and ran back to the track, I was 4 laps down. Got 2 of the laps back, but finished in 4th. This thing rips. Once I get some more time on it I will let you guys know what I think about it. But after the first run with it, I liked it enough to sell the V01b.

NICE!!!!! so you like this over an OS well guess it's a good engine then..... well hope you have a little better luck at the track next time...

Hows the c5 compare to the ws7II , more juice all around? Did ya get the rody tuned one ?
 
Had my first full day of racing with the C5 today. Overall impression, it guzzles gas. This is one thirsty engine. I'm hoping it will get better after I get some more fuel through it.
As for performance, it lacks a little on the low end, but the mid to top is simply amazing. The power is abrupt also. I put some Mugen 1.1 clutch springs and black shoes on it and it helped alot. The trick is to keep the rpm's up at all times with this engine. Managed to grab third after my glow plug fouled in the main. I always put a new plug in before the main but for some reason I forgot to this time.
I'm gonna order a 7mm carb restrictor today which will help with the gas mileage and should also smooth it out a bit too. I'll keep you guys posted.
