I've driven other On-Road Nitro's and haven't come across something that's as fast as this puppy.... It roasted my buddies JDM Celica GT4RC (ST185) across the Wal-Mart parking lot.....

Very nice,I have 2 of those. And 2 of the shaft version. 1 of my belt cars is almost exactly like yours. kudos on the chassis and upperdeck/ybrace and the belt tensioners. I think those springs are a bit heavy for that car though.

Thanks for the compliments..... The ride height is quite high.... Just in case of that rock in the middle of the street......

I love to see someone rockin the ol skool rs4. They are a dieing breed. If you ever need parts I have a good ebay hook up. Just so you know, all the arms, knuckles, shocks, tie rods, turnbuckles, dogbones/cvds/universals and the front c-hubs are the same as the rs4-3.

Is the muffler suppose to be sticking out like that? Anyways, looks great.

na,if you look the rear of the tank isnt mounted.so its making the pipe stick out. maybe he was performing some maintinance or something? surly he dont run it like that.

Actually, the tank is mounted. Look at the under picture (#2). It is screwed down.

you are correct, i was looking at pic 3 doesn't look like there is a screw in the rear? i have the hpi graphite upperdeck installed on one of mine and my tank doesn't mount like that, must be a hack job if it is indeed installed like that?

Well I think it's okay to have it like that since he might want it to pop out from the body, and the muffler perfectly lines up with the wheels and a little more to let it pop out from the body. Picture #3 does look like it doesn't have one, and the muffler does look straighter. Pretty weird.

I love my Original RS4. It was my first ever Nitro and its still completely stock and reliable. Yours looks like a beast. What engine is that?

mine? the attached link above is a OS maxx .15 cvx with an aftermarket head,my other belt drive has a hpi t.15 its all hardcore racing, and alot of aluminum.

if you ment the pix above? i think its an OS maxx .12 cvx with an aftermarket head and the pullstart removed and a headsink installed. I maybe wrong though? just what it looks like to me?

Nice car, I used to have an RS4 2 with a .21 conversion and bunch of aluminum hop up parts and stuff, those were good times. Maybe someday I'll build another one.

BTW, what kinda engine you running?

Differential's internals are the same also. I think the general rule is that everything is the same except what makes up the drive train, or what's related to the belts.

That mill in the pics above, is an old skool O.S. .15 CVX Hyper... That mill was a monster in my T^Maxx, I could only imagine what it does to the RS4...

ImBroken, I think that is a OS 12 or 15 with a CVX hyper head. The CVX hyper had a blue block with a gold head, whereas the regular 12 and 15 had a black block, with the 12 having a red head and the 15 having blue. I still have two of the .15 CVX Hypers. But one of mine has the Hardcore Mutant head on it, and the other is sporting that gold head.

Can anyone tell me something about the RS3, my local Craiglist is selling one for $150 with 10 gallons through it. What do you think. Is this thing really old, do they make parts for it, will I need an engine soon?

you mean rs4 3? i've never heard of an rs3

10 gallons is a lot, most engines make it 4-8 gallons.
if its an rs4 3 parts are also not hard to come by

i went and took a look at it. its just an old nitro rs4. looks to be in good condition, but i can't see much from the pictures. parts are not too hard to come by, a lot of the rs4 2 and 3 parts are universal. may be an rs4 2 though. as i said, i can't tell from the pictures
