Hi, i'm trying to figure out of to what is the best drag set up for my rs4 3 with 18tz as far as suspension, gears, and how much difference would the ported tz make. thanks

I'm using HPI aluminum shocks red and purple springs with 80wt oil. For drag racing I use yellow first and red second opinions but plan on trying purple second. 39/43 spurs.

Porting made a huge difference to my engine.

Thanks. Also Do you have your clutch set at a low stall or is it high. What tires hook better for you? And who ported your engine?

I have my clutch(Buku) to engage at a higher rpm. The tires to hook better on VHT are foam and for just regular streets just use HPI belted rubber tires.

What is the top speed of your rs4

with 37/23 gears when I dragrace I hit 59mph in 132ft and thats not the top speed of that gearing, I'm guessing id hit 70-75mph on the long run.

now with 37/26 gearing I would guess 80-85mph

Where do u get the 26t pinion. I always have a hard time finding big opinions.

Cool, will the losi 25t pinion screw on to the hpi clutch bell by chance

Thats where I'm not sure.

you will have to mix and match the spurs to mesh with pinions.

What cluch bell do u use with those gears

the 19/26 come with a clutchbell, one piece

Yea I have it and I tryed to see if it would fit and it did not line up with the gears did u have to drill out more holes on the chassis to make them line up

No, all I had to do is use 37/43 spurs instead of 37/41. What your problem is,its that you have to get adjustable motor mounts so your engine can move back some

I have the motor mount I'm using a trx2.5 the gears just don't line up
