my first revo could use some help

just bought this revo only about have gallon thru it for 275 so was it a good deal?????

its the 5309 is there any weaknesses to this truck that i should keep a close look at
 
I have had the 5309 for a while now and i have had no problems yet. I would however keep an eye on the a arms they break with out you knowing until cleaning. :) Then you can Put RPM's on it. Oh and when using reverse be sure to stop and wait 1 second then shift while on the brake. Saves on everything
 
sounds good got rpm on my tmaxx and them things take a beating and even with the opti drive?? dont know much about it tho first truck with reverse
 
just keep extra a arms and maybe a spur gear. that is a very good truck to bash with

Yea. even with the opti drive i still apply brake sit for a sec and then do it. Makes life ez :). Just a safty thing is all and a good habit for all riggs with reverse.
Yea i have them on my wifes TMAXX they take everything you can give them.
 
yea rpm does make really good products and yea i know only a half gallon thru it and it was clean until yesterday
 
thanks and havent found one thing wrong with it yet and yea cleaning aint to fun but its fun getting it like that and yea its a huge improvement over my tmaxx
 
I agree Double i don't think it is something to write home about (cleaning the riggs) But I do like them when they are clean.
 
me too clean and new nothing like it but what fun is that i dont buy shelf queens gotta use em if ya got it
