I can't wait to see how the Charger does in the draft... it sure does look mean though. Jeff B has a pretty good time. Glad to see him in a decent ride. This is gonna be one heluva race. I wish I could watch the 150's though.... gotta work. :p

The charger does look mean. Only the draft will telll how it will do on the big track.Smaller spoilers new body and 190,198 speeds I do hope they fair well

LOL no poop I went out side during it Thats was a first!

They way I understand it, 35 positions are locked in by last Sunday's qualifying, and these twin 150 mile races put the last 8 spots up for grabs. I don't understand why everyone has to run then, unless its just practice for them. I wouldn't want to chance wrecking my 500 car.

Agh, all this nascar makes me want to paint some nascar lids for the oval car.

Ah, to correct my own blurb, heres the Daytona 500 qualifying procedure quoted from Nascar.com............

"Drivers qualifying in odd-numbered positions will compete in the first Gatorade Duel race while drivers that qualify in even-numbered positions duke it out in the second Gatorade Duel race.

The top 14 finishers, not including the polesitter in the first 150-mile qualifying race, will line up behind the Daytona 500 pole sitter; while the top-14 finishers, not including the outside pole sitter in the second 150-mile Gatorade Duel qualifying race, will line up behind the outside Daytona 500 pole sitter.

Currently, the next eight Daytona 500 starting positions (31-38) are awarded to the drivers with the fastest speed after pole qualifying. The final five positions (39-43) are given to teams that are entitled to a provisional starting position per NASCAR's entry blank for the event."
