my engine broke

That usually happens when you run the engine too rich during breakin. All that excess fuel does not compress and stresses the conrod. When you break an engine in, keep it around 200-230F. You want it to run smoothly, but slightly rich. Blubbering rich and bogging is terrible for an engine.
It could very well have been defective though.
You could have revved it too high too soon as well.
 
well i let it coll off every run no more then half throtle i was told to run it a little rich for more lubericating
