Oh man, that looks like it could hit you in the gut and go right through ya! Awesome work!!

I most certainly will. I'm getting a Tekin RX8 ESC for it today and I just ordered the nano techs for it. I'll post more pics as it comes along.

I don't think the 1717 can handle Big Joes.....haha. Looks sick and like it will be a lot of fun.

It is. I just got the rx8 soldered up. I'll post pics later today

Here it is as of right now. I still need better hexes and a motor fan. My 3s packs should be in later this week.

So thats a maxx platform? Thats a chuck norris truck for sure! Unbelievable....

Yeah its a maxx, originally. this truck started as a 2.5 maxx, my first truck. its just grown and evolved constantly since then. My front RPM a Arms are pulling the threaded pillow balls out. whats the reccomended fix for this? (besides just replacing the arm). i have heard of using teflon tape on the threads.

Well I had a 25 MPH jump land a little akward on one wheel. It didnt even bend the rpm a arm. To me it looked like nothing but I was surprise when I popped the shell off by this

I think it's a design flaw. I would send it back but it would just break again. I'm probably going to make a top plate to reinforce it

yeah i sent them an email, still waiting on a response

So I have been speaking with Regina at FLM today about the top plates thickness, and in her most recent email stated she would get back to me. Inially we miscommunicated because I was not using part numbers but we got past that.

I'm assuming this is a golden example of a brushless motor stalling because the timing is set too low. or a bad connection.
