hey guys when i start my engine it runs perfectly but when i apply the throttle the cluch bell and the spur gear move but the car wont I'm so confused can u tell me the problem please thankyou

Do the wheels turn if you pick the rig up? Is it a 4WD or 2WD? If you can detail out what you've done to it or what has been done to it, that'll help as well.

it is a 4wd the whells do turn very slightly wen i apply full throttle but i recently replaced the spur gear but i no i installed it proberly do u think the drivetrain have came losse or something ?

Well, could be a couple of things.

1. If it has a slipper clutch, tighten it clear down, then back it off a turn. If the wheels turn then, you've solved the problem.

2. If it doesn't, or this doesn't solve the problem, check the driveline from diff to diff. Although I'm not all that familiar with your particular rig, I do know that on some of mine, the outdrive cups are secured by a set screw. If that set screw is loose or gone, the dogbone will just spin the cup on the shaft.

3. If you have reverse, it may be stuck inbetween forward and reverse.

Again, I'm not familiar with this rig. May want to see if the manual has a troubleshooting part. I'll try to think of other possibilities as well.

thanks anyway i am a newbie with this hobby i dont now what u mean by 'diff to diff' or a slipper cluch if u could tell me that would b much apreacited thank you

swith differentials arond same thing happend with my t-maxx it a pain..the wheels make sure the pins are in to fit into the hex nut..

Before you go tearing that rig clear down, and being that you are new to this, I'd advise you to sit down and really go through the manual that came with it to familiarize yourself with the layout of the rig and the terms used (like differentials and slipper clutch).

I will say, I seriously doubt you need to switch the diffs around, and even if you did, it wouldn't solve the problem anyway. If the diff's were in backwards, the wheels would still turn, just the wrong the way, so I'm almost certain that is not the problem.

I will try doing a little research on your particular rig when I have some time, but women's moguls are on the Olympics, so I'm going to watch those.

I'm searching for a manual online to take a look. I'll post some ideas when I get the chance and I'm sure others will add suggestions as well (hopefully from someone more familiar with this one.)

When ya replaced the spur gear, you know that nut that holds on the spur gear? There should be a spring in there as well. Well thats probably to tight, so loosen it up a couple turns. And then hopefully that'll fit it.

And Tmaxx are you serious you swapped your diffs??? lol.. That could have been fixed by a click of a switch on your controller.

lemme know if that fixed it. (That was one of my 1st noob mistakes too)

there were two little screws with little washers on them i left out come to think about it that could b the problem right ?

Yeah, I'd venture a guess at being a good place to start in tracking the problem down.

I'll bet those two screws attach your spur gear to a plate, then this set-up is bolted onto the shaft. The plate is part of your slipper clutch, so if your spur is not attached to it, it'll just spin but the load isn't being transferred to your drivetrain.

Put those screws back in then follow 4U2NV's suggestion on adjusting the slipper clutch nut. That should do the trick, but if not, come on back and we'll think of something else.

YEp, them screws would do it. Probably there for a reason..lol..Keep us posted.

And spit, I'm gonna pee in your cereal.

nah it was a spur gear mate i forgot to put these 2 screws in it dont ask me how i managed to do that i jst did by the way i didnt call zandor mean at all
