I just downloaded limewire and love it. What songs are good that you can name related to like greenday, linken park, jimmy eat world, that kind a stufff?

Heck yes. Its fast, all songs i downlaoded have been the actual, and the serch is easy to use, i might go pro.

remember piraiting music is aganist the law

hey i would watch out for all the free music Programs. My Cousin got sued from having to many songs, videos, and pictures on her computer. and she also had more than me and i had a crap load over 8,000 songs and 4,000 vids and 15,000 pictures so watch out and dont downlaod to much the gov.is still looking for kids to do it again. but for songs if you like older rock download some Ac/Dc, Guns and Roses, Led Zepplin, all of those good older rockers.

beware the spyware. its in most of those P2P programs. the main reason i havent used one in about 5-6 months. my computers run much smoother now too since i quit and cleaned them out.

I only 10 songs. I just wanted to gere a song real bad and the radio hardly plays it. And i knew a friend who had limewire so i downloaded it.

Linkin Park - Numb
Linkin Park - Somewhere I Belong
Jimmy Eat World - Bleed America
Green Day - Brain Stew (get the Godzilla remix to)

I like all Linkin Park and have all their CD's. Get as many of them as you can :)

Jimmy eat world work is my favorite.

go to www.download.com search for limewire and read the reviews. keep in mind some people make up reviews to try to promote thier software, those are easy to spot. limewire is not spyware free. i know, I've used it before, and had a heck of a time cleaning it out. the reason i dont use P2P anymore is because the risk has just gotten too great lately. i have to pay for all my computer stuff myself, so i dont want to replace things that get screwed up. I've been working on my parents laptop for the past 2 weeks because they got something that corrupted the hard drive and wont allow you to even start it up, from hard disk, floppy, or CD. i doubt your parents would like to end up in a similar situation. I'm not trying to lecture you, just make you aware it could be a costly risk your taking for a couple of songs.

Guns N Roses
Whitesnake
Van Halen
Ratt
Scorpions
Motley Crue
Nirvana
Alice in Chains

Just to name a few, Check them out.

i got limewire too and i htink its great. corrado you must have had bad luck or somethihn cause nothin is wrong with mine at all. it pretty much had all the songs i wanted and no pop ups or nothin.

not bad luck. it had all the songs i wanted too, software and video's. but use it for a while and see how much your system slows down. run a good antispyware like microsofts, or yahoo's i think picks it up too. limewire has also been known to disable search and destroy and pest patrol. I've been downloading stuff for years, and it takes quite a bit to get me to stop, but lately the programs out are just horrible. gimme the old scour.net back and id be happy.

also bring up your running processes and look to see just how much of your cpu and memory limewire is taking up.

i had it also and it was full of spyware argggggg

Get Limewire PRO... I got it for the first time (after having kazaa i didn't want spyware) and it is SOOOO GREAT.... No spyware or anything... no pop ups no poop liek that... just great downloading. Much better then the origional kazza.

Ya. This machine is getting rebuilt anyways. I have all the songs i want at only 17 songs,I dont want pics and vid.

When you guys get that special little letter in the mail from the Recording Industry you will be happy. Do you realize they are technically suing for $100,000 per copyrighted song that they find on your computer. Most likely you can settle out for less. Who wants to gamble... not me.... I will buy my music from legitimate sources thank you very much LOL

I have about 45 gigs of mp3 and I own a copy of about 80-90 % of them on either cassette/ Vinyl or CD....let em come.....besides the quality you get when you rip your own is way better than the P2P stuff....I hate getting 1/2 a song...besides almost all of what Ihave is at least 10years old......most stuff made after the mid 90s IMO pretty much sucks...what happened to originality in art....now we get homogenized re-mixed, re-dubbed, re-trash.......I'm all for music fusion but lets find anuther form to fuse than hip-hop and hard rock...IT'S PLAYED....

Yup, gotta love limewire. Just keep in mind that even though the software is free and legal to use, it's what you download that might get you in trouble. Not knocking it, I have it as well.

(psssst.........try not to be greedy) LOL
