WIch is a better kit MBX5 or KYOSHO K3 7.5 don't know wich one to buy . engine will be rb ws7II. Please Help.........................Not for racing just for bashing

i like the mbx5.....

mugen lovers, like myself will say that,

kyosho lovers will say the K3, its the same buggy basically, save ur dough and get the mbx5, it can't be beat man... later

Mugen fans will say Mugen. Kyosho fans will say Kyosho. They are both great buggies so buy the one you really want the most. I love both my Kanai's and Sky's Mugen is freaking awesome too. They are both top of the line kits.

Hey! Did you copy my text from before?

I think tha K3 is going to be the one but is Kyosho coming out with a new one. What should i do wait or just get this one?

If you wait you will always be waiting. There's always something new coming out. As you buy your stuff right now they are wheeling in the new stuff in the back. Fact of life.

Hmm if it was me I would say K3 but I like to race. I think for bashing the Mugen would be better and that only because it is like 200 less than the K cars and that will buy you extra parts! Not to say the Mugen can't race just look at the last few races and see but when I use to bash I broke way more parts than racing and that 200.00 is nice to have!

Get the Mugen. Kyosho has to keep putting out newer versions to compete with the MBX-5. :flamer: lol

Don't count out the swift... it's bassicaly the Mugen... save your pennies and get one of these babbies... they are starting to become pretty big and have great support. Both the MBX5 and the Kyosho are awesome, the best of course... but don't count out the swift, it is right up there with them... just as the review in the newest Xtreme R/C Cars magazine will tell you.

yeah... the swift. I do like how it includes a decent radio and the price is unbeatable. seems kinda uncanny how swift can copy a 550 dollar buggy and just rebadge it as their own..... I mean, I would expect to see that behavior from ofna but............

So sad but so true. Like with real cars. What is the figure they devalue as soon as you drive off the lot?

Some things are close but the geometry is different, other stuff is noteably different. All buggies seem to share one thing or another.

Well.. Mugen won the NATS this year.. so.. that is the buggy.. Kyosho dont have to release a new buggy to keep up.. it was Mugen who released the X5 to compete with the 7.5, the 7.5 been out for a while.. no need to release a complete new buggy when the current buggy is still top of the racing world..

The new 777 will be out.. its not a total redesigne.. but it has lower servo tray, lighter chassis.. longer arms.. and updated arms for lower COG.. when it will be out.. i dont know.. but.. i like both the Mugen, and the Kyosho..

You OFNA HATERS Lol. :buggy1: :censored: :censored:

are the ofna's that bad? plan on getting a hyper 7 pro limited edition, comes with a hyper.21 mill, performance pipe and header. Should i just get a kanai 3 or a mugen mbx 5? is it really that big of a difference ? they all almost look the same to me cause I'm new to the buggy scene. dont plan on racing only because i dont think there is any 1/8 buggys races up here, but would lke to if the options opens up. price difference between the Hyper 7 pro and mugen is huge ! like 300 bucks here. is the mugen hopped up like the hyper pro ? sry for the long post, any feedback is appreciated

lol - between Kyosho and Mugen, they dont come out with NEW buggies that often. Maybe different hopups on the same one, but not NEW ones.

So if you hold off for the MP 777 (if thats in fact what it will be called) you may get a good un or you may get a lemon (as it hasnt been driven in the pros yet to see what it can REALLY do.

As for the MBX 5 or the MP 7.5, you can't go wrong with either. So flip a coin.

I'm certain there will be hopped up MBX 5's right around the corner. Some driver will get to slap his name all over it. Like Kanaii with the MP 7.5. At the end of the day, it is STILL a 7.5

Chris has a very valid point here. When the K-2 came out most owners liked their K-1 better. Now that the K-3 has come out which is way better than a K-2 it seems to reason that the MP 777 might very possibly classify itself into the category of the K-2 and not be that great of a buggy.

ahh that answers one of my questions Çh®i§tiªñ guess that eliminates the kanai editons for me because there alot more cash then the mbx 5 and mp 7.5. i can get a mp 7.5 for 300 dollars less then a mugen mbx 5 here, are the 2 comparable in quality and race readyness? cause if so then the mp 7.5 would be the way to go for me. any feedback is appreciated. sorry for jumping on someone elses thread with questions

No the regular 7.5 is NOT the same as the K3! What he is saying is the K1 people liked better than the K2 but the K3 people like better than the K1 or K2. That's the way I read it. The price is the same in the us just about 200-300 more for the K3 than the Mugen. The 2 of them are great cars as it was said in the first few post ask a mugen guy and they will say mugen ask a kyosho and you will get a kyosho! I strongly think it will be the 777 look
