So what are you saying mike? BTW check out my other thread I know you've driven just about everything out there...

get him to tell you how much play is in the arms, what sort of nick the bearings are in and if the chassis is still straight, difs etc, I've been bitten in early life a few times buying second hand cars, turning up and then having to spend almost as much as a new kit to get it back to a raceable level, then if it all turns out well buy it

The link didn't take you right to it, but Pro-Line now has hub adapters for 1/8 scale buggies. Specifically the 777, MBX-5/Prospec, and Hyper 7.

Husky thanks for the offer, but I'm going to have to wait to get a new ride. Deal isn't going through with the other guy, so I decided to get a new radio and an engine in the near future.

Truggy kits are out! Starting to build mine today, this thing is SWEET! Gonna use the MSR Conversion Kit and the Proline 23mm Hex Adapters..

i was gonna do that but went with the LSP instead...i may do it anyways if i get the buggy back this week:)

but if i do it will prolly be the Native kit instead of the MSR kit

I'd like to see a combo kit of the longer arms from NR and the longer chassis from MSR...might make me keep my MBX-5 instead of selling it.

You can't run the 23mm wheels with the msr adapters. What are the NR arms? I have my truggy all built, awaiting sensor and mach .26.

I'm trying to do that, but NR will *not* sell me (dealer) the arms seperately... Only the complete kit.

You will soon be able to buy the MSR parts seperately, however, so you could buy the Native Kit, and combine it with the longer chassis and longer rear center drive..

Some of the prices are good, some are about 10-15% higher than my local shop. I'll be needing several parts, as I'm building a 3rd Prospec out of spare parts, looking for a good source.
