UMMMM you are missing something here. What good would a failsafe have been the Tmaxx never lost a signal just picked up on a stronger one.

if their is any interfearence between ur truck and ur transmitter it puts the brakes on

I know that but what happens if you just get closer to a same signal but stronger strength. I guess what I really mean is what if he is running WOT and beginning to get to the end of his range when a stronger signal picks up also on WOT. By the time you realize you got a problem and go for brakes your car is no longer picking up a signal to register as interference. Would the failsafe still be effective. I realize that they are when you have several people in the same area.
 
Yall should look at the Thread Called Failsafe.. It will engage if another signal is picked up
