  1. Bashing
I want a crawler but to go mudding with and bash around.I might go crawling but not often. My price range is 150-250 i have picked some but dont know which one please suggest or any other trucks i like the. Hpi king crawler, axial Scx10, Losi high roller, losi nightcrawler, Venom safari creeper scale. I want it to be ready to run so i dont have to put it together so suggest please

if u want to go mudding u might want to think about waterproof esc and what not

If you get a crawler for bashing, you'll probably be disappointed. They only go about 5 mph, and the suspensions are made for articulating, not compressing. Which means they don't jump so great. $250 wouldn't even get you a 4x4 rig, so I'd advise saving some more cash. Then maybe go with an E Maxx, or something else that comes from the factory waterproof.

Or if you do get a 2wd put sand paddles on the back. They work great haha Thats what i do

I'd say Crawler King. It's the Wheelie King with a few mods to make it a better crawler, so parts would be plentiful. Nothing you listed is waterproof, but you could throw some waterproof electronics in any vehicle.

Ok what parts would i have to water proof and i heard of plasti dip you spray in on and bam water proof does it work

Yeah, plasti dip works. You can also split the servo cases and seal them with rtv. Looks way cleaner and is more robust. Either way you go, the output shaft is still a good place for water to get in. Can't cover the splines with plasti dip, but some rtv on the screw and/or some grease on the splines and screw does the trick.

Put your receiver and ESC in a water tight box or put balloons over them, I would not plastic dip the ESC unless you want it too over heat.

X's 2 on this.............been there done that and spent more than if i would have just waited and got a factory truck thats waterproof

save some more cash and get an E-MAXX i love mine and i can change out my tires for some mild crawling but it was ment to bash not crawl and its WP from factory

If your trying to bash and mud scale base like the real trucks do go with the SCX-10 by Axial, they are easy to waterproof and are hella fun on the rocks, trail and slappin around in the muck! If you just want to be crazy bashing through whatever comes in fromt of your truck I would go EMAXX or Savage FLUX. And I just realized this thread is old lol!
