MTX-2 problem

I just got a mtx-2 and am having major issues starting it there was a crack on the carb by the high speed needle that i fix now fuel is getting to the carb (it wasn't even doing that before) but the dang thing still won't start they engine turns over, but it won't start i'm thinking there a air leak in the carb somewhere. but i'm not sure i took the carb off the other day and found flecks of metal in it so maybe that has something to so with it. the carb is an sirio in a mt12 if any one can help that would be great.

You need to be a bit more detailed, where on the carb is the crack at? Hsn or on the body of the carb?

it's right down the middle of the hsn

If it's a crack on the brass part of the HSN, then you can go to your local hobby shop, or anywhere that carry Novarossi engines and order that part only. The part number is 11610 for both type of carb, slide and rotary. This is for the MT12.

Unfortunatly it is cracked by the hsn on the carb body would it work it i put some silicone or any other kinda of sealer on there to fix the leak? cause the carb body it plastic.

You could do that, however it will start to leak as time comes. It will mess up your tunning if it does. I would recommend you purchase a new body or the whole carb. I don't like the sirio carb, many people have problems with them, at least the older ones. You should put back on your stock carb, it will work better than the sirio one, I'm sure of.

The part number for Slide is 10604M. You might have to search around and email a few online store or lhs to see if they can speacial order it for ya...:hi:
