I have an MT2 on the way.

what spare parts should I carry that will be ones to break?

what things can I modify to prevent it from breaking? (atleast prolong the time between repairs :ponder2: )

I've done a search and found a few items to beef up the differential. Wondering you're guy's thoughts on it.

thanks in advance

I keep breaking rear suspention arms. I'm on my second set. I carry alot of plastic chassis parts a big variety.

one thing you might want to get is some new diffs and some better shock oil. but before you go buy some new diffs(:2cents: ) drive it first because sometimes they break right out of the box and other people have no problem with them.

I shimmed mine before even driving and after 1/2gal thru it I put in the diff spring set and still not a problem.

I've had my NMT for about 1.4 years and have come up with the following: :2cents:

Stay away from alum suspension arms, just boil and if needed, replace the plastic ones.

Keep extra suspension arms, turnbuckles, hinge pins, shock parts, spur gears, and dogbones

I'm not sure about the MT2, but the MT had bushing in the steering parts.. handling improved ALOT when i upgraded to ball bearings

If/When it breaks, get a high torque metal geared servo for steering. Helps alot.

As previously mentioned, i strongly suggest shimming the diff.

I also upgraded screws gradually. Especially on the bottom of chassis. The NMT, at least for me, tends to rub against/hit the ground alot, and weak screws just get destroyed to the point of making removal difficult.

Thanks all i can think of at work ATM!
