Does anyone here own one? And, do they like it, and what spares will I need to order along with my MST-1?

there are a few fellas here in OkC that race em.

The truck is a supposed to be a bit more durable out of the box then the losi, but for the most part, they are very similar.

I own one.. Pretty durable.. I've got the upgraded axles, aluminum hubs, and aluminum rear hexes, and it's been pretty bulletproof..

Hey thanks man! I've been tryin to get ahold of someone w/ this truck forever. lol.

If I were to get one, what parts should I have in my pit-box since none of the lhs's have parts for it.

I actually bit the bullet and just bought a "parts" kit...an extra kit incase anything breaks..

I've had great luck. The only thing that has truly broken is the rear shock tower, after a hard 60 minute main on a track with huge jumps (designed for 1/8th). If you buy a kit now, it'll include the aluminum hubs and upgraded axles.. I'd also recommend the aluminum hubs, and you'll be pretty bulletproof! It's a good reliable truck!

Hello, could someone please tell me what sort of engine shaft would fit in the MST-1? Short? Threaded? Pilot?
From the pictures, I noticed that it favours a slide carb O_o; Is there a reason for this? I thought stadium trucks would be better off with rotary carbs...

I'm still deciding between the MST-1 and the XXX-NT Drake... I could see myself bashing around most of the time and join a racing club later, So a tough truck with racing capability would be nice. I don't like the idea of having to use short shafted engine on the truck though, I'd like to be able to swap engines around several cars. I have an HPI Nitro MT with OS 15 CVRX already...

OK, I've won a Mugen MST-1 auction at eBay. It comes with an engine, so I guess I'll just use that. Somebody please let me know if there's an online store with good parts support for the MST^^

Will do^^ And thanks for the link!
I won't get to assemble it until December though, lol! (it's near the end of semester, busy busy)

Edit: Oh carp, nitrohouse doesn't ship internationally >.<
