Made an interesting trade for another micro.
MRS4 with the Aktion 540 Hybrid cf chassis.
It looks like the wiring needs re-routed and the servo needs mounted in a better position but over all give it a couple of thumbs up.
The best part about it is you can install 180-540 size cans.
Now to tear it down and see what really makes it tick.

Here the link to the videos. Check out the video footage, the first one in particular;

Yes I have over the past couple of years Ed.
I have no one to bash with now that runs nitro or enough to make it worthwhile. The good 'ol bash site is now RC Willey, Starbucks and the rest of the gang. I've been working with a lhs owner to on commercial deal that would include a hobby shop with a couple of tracks, one being off-road. Speedworld is also talking about putting in an off-road track out back of the on-road but when is the $64 question.
The real challenge is working with all the small parts.
So until then I get to terrorize my neighbors with silent 40-50 mph micros!
You know me; I enjoy building and testing them out as much as trying to race them not mention it keeps me out of trouble.

I've been considering shooting some video footage if I can find a steady hand to hold the camcorder and radar gun.

That thing looks pretty Sweet! Looks like ya got a nice lid too.

The paint job is one of the better jobs that I've seen. My cell phone camera from my work desk doesn't do it justice.
The current motor is a Team Orion Speed 300 powered by a 2s lipo but
I need a Graupner Speed 480 BB and to fabricate a new set of street foams wide enough to bite.
The 480s are great, power to weight ratios are better than most 540 cans.
Fabricating wider foams/wheels is a pain but worth it. It should be wickedly quick when its finished.
