MRC Thunder King Retro mod LOL!

Ok guys here's what I am working on in a kinda long term project. I traded a buddy of mine out of an old Rc truck he had bouncing around inside the bed of his truck lol! Anyhow it ended up being a 1991 MRC Thunder King dual motor 2wd MT. I have been doing some research online and theres been a few people out there having success with modding these with other manufacturers parts. Anyhow I have started work on it and tought I would share it with everyone on here. So far I have had success with making Hpi Savage arms fit fairly easily. Gonna have to get creative on this one. There are some info out there on these trucks but it's limited. If anyone knows where I could locate the old school discontinued RC4wd steel trans gears for this truck please let me know, I have plans of putting big dual brushless power to this rig.

Thanks Trout. Heres some pics so far. I am actually quite a bit further into build, just no time to get updates posted. I will go into detail later of the parts used and manufactures parts I repurposed for the build. There isn't really much left that's stock MRC that's on the truck lol!
