Hello everyone. iv had some issues with my revoe and i have finally got it to work/tunes etc! now i have another problem.....Here goes, eveytime i start it it ticks over fine, sounds good, however when i throttle more than half way down it just turns off.....what could this be?

Iv been told air leak?????? iv ordered a head gasket as it never had one before, would this fix the problem?

Thanks to all in advance.............I just want to ride my revo :(

I'm guessing lean on the hsn if it's stalling outright and not bogging. Which may require leaning the lsn as you get the hsn close. Which will probably require an idle adjustment.

hi thanks for ur replies........Tuning is as accurate as it could be as Modlesport UK have done this. Its been Richened but still no luck....any news on putting in a Head Gasket?

Thanks

There's no gasket. It's a shim that adjusts timing. But it still could leak. There would be residue around the mating surfaces if it is leaking. Tightening the bolts and/or flipping the shim over usually fixes the problem. I'd do a complete seal job on the engine and start over. If the engine is broken in, start the needle settings just lean of factory. 1/4 turn on the hsn, 1/8 turn on the lsn. Read the nitro tuning tips and tricks sticky at the top of the nitro forum. It explains sealing in detail.
