I have seen a couple of people on the board that have used the new Ninja motor. I have finished putting together my Jammin XCR1FT and now all I need is my new mill. I know the P5 is the old reliable standby but there is something about the Ninja that has me hooked. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of these mills and if so what are your thoughts when compared to a P5. The tracks I will be running on will be in the medium to large layout.

I have no expirence with the Ninjas "yet". I've totally bought into the hype and will be giving one a try very soon.

I'm sure they are much smoother then the p5's. From what I've been told, they are not quite as explosive, but have ton's of usable power.

Must be really smooth because a stock p5x is indeed VERY smooth, yet alone my modified one is surprisingly smoother. I'm sure there going to be great engines, something out of the ordinary.

I am going to get the Ninja this Friday. Going with the MR NINJA 2053 pipe as well. Hopefully I will get to start the break in this weekend. I will let everyone know how it goes...

Izze, if you think a p5 is smooth you need to try out either an OS v-spec or a Jp FX B5N stocker. The p5 has no top end and way to much bottom end when compared to these two motors.

Huh? Trust me I owned a V-spec, I know what I speak of, my modified p5x will blow it away, it's not a lightly modified p5x, and the most improved end would be top end, it produces Insane top end rpms. Best part about it, is the powerband is very smooth and keeps me dialed on the track, I have no problem handling the bottom end power. I race on a short-mid track, bottom end is a must if you want to be fast.

not just port and polish: (crank is modified by Tony also, but not much to see, V.2 mod)
