Is the white color sold out at your area too? I got a 4GB Black from my girlfriend for my B-day last week. All they got is black and all white color sold out on the first day. I'm kinda love the black tho

Dunno about the white being sold out, the black was a pleasant surprise. My wife did have to wait a couple weeks for the 4GB units. I agree about the earphones, sound quality is poor and they refuse to stay put in my ears. Apple included the same pair with my first ipod and they still suck.

Sound quality is very good, excellent low frequency response, highs are not harsh at all although sometimes the mids can sound a little exaggerated which can be a good thing depending on what music you are listening to. The in ear design keeps them from falling out and I can wear them for hours without having sore ears. Just be careful when you run with them, you will not be able to hear cars coming because they basically work like earplugs and block out all outside noise.
Regarding the screen issue, I'm glad Apple is doing something in terms of offering replacements. The units effected were less than 1/10 of 1% units manufactured though so I'm not too worried.

I'd say the nano, I personally have the ipod mini. Unfortunantly, you can't find those anymore.

I am pretty sure that the Nano is what I will end up with. But I need to gather the cash for thqat type of expense since I want to get decent ear phones so I can use them during working out. Hey DOM Nice Surprise. How many can you actually fit into that baby?

Hey! I got a nano too!!! I got the black aswell and it is a dream come true. Everything is AWESOME except the only problem is that it scratches WAY too easily. Guys, I love my ipod headphones. You just gotta know how to put them in right. When i first got it sunday, I couldnt really get them in good and I had the same problem. As far as sound quality..... wtf? they have awesome quality! well, i guess my opinion is different. If anyone is considering getting one DO IT. You will be soooooooo happy. I have the 2gb one. early birthday present
