Hi this isnt a howto question its a what is you expirence(sp) question.
Anyways i did the mod and lost tons of turning radius when turning to the right. Turning to the left is alright i guess but it takes a good 15-25 feet to turn 180 degrees to the right. I'm going to first adjust me servo and then if that does not not help I'm going back to the stock set up. Is the mod really all that usefull when running a good servo?

And has anyone else had the same exact thing happen to them?

The problem is that the servo saver arms is hitting the outdrive cup housing on the diff. I did a little grinding on the arms to gain a little clearance which helped.

I recently upgraded to the Golden Horizons Servo Saver which elimnates this problem completly. It now has maximum throw in both directions.

I was looking at servo savers and i was going to get the monster pireate saver for my savage in the future is there anything i should know/Purchase to get maximum performance? I looked at your link and that saver is kinda outa my price range, I Need something more cost eficient. Sorry to interupt your post so rudly with my questions PiErow

Actually, HPI has come out with there own. HPI Cam Type Servo Saver
For 18 bucks, IMO people considering the MP mod should go this route.

Is there any other place to buy it other than the HPI site i looked on tower but i didnt find it. Or is it so new that they are working on getting it to the stores now?

Ok thanks rob. I will have to pick up the goldenhorizons servo saver when it is available.

It is new. I don't know why Tower does not at least have it in there system. I have not been able to find it anywhere but the HPI site.

I can't find it on their site? Can you buy it there? How can I find it, I tried the search, but I couldn't find it?

Thanks.

does anyone know where i can find the ofna throttle servo saver mod? I'm having trouble finding it on ofna's site.

Thanks robmob, for some reason the picture link on the front page wasn't coming up. I found it though. For 18$ I think I'm gunna get one.

HPI's BuyHPI isn't working for me, it just says runtime error, is anyone else having this problem??

Same problem here.

Great links for the throttle linkage too, I'm going to have to jot thie thread name down to search for it in the future. Great info from every one. Thanks for the help.

Well, I never got a reply from my e-mail, but I did find out that their site ios up and running. I'm about to order one up! :)

Thats good to hear i might e-mail them to see if the saver will be sold ne where other than their site like towers

Well you can try, I've never recived an e-mail from them. I've tried like three times, oh well. I usually end up calling them and get put on hold lol.

I'll let you know how the Servo saver works when I get it. It's coming from CA and I live in NH so I got fast shipping, i'm very impatient lol. :D

EDIT - I take that back, I just recieved an e-mail stateing that BuyHPI is back on-line. I have asked when the three speed will be available as well as when the servo saver will be available in other stores. I'll let you guys know as soon as I get a reply.
