Brand new Feigao 380C 4899Kv motor (for 1/10 scale applications-sorry for the typo earlier, the can is 540 sized, but technically the model is 380C, excellent for 1/10 touring or 1/10 4wd buggy) $50

I'd prefer to keep it all as a package. I'll let you know if I decide to part it out.

Mallanga you have a PM. Check the thread again, I had a typo on the motor, it's a 380C but the can is 540 sized. Great motor for a 1/10 touring car or 1/10 4wd buggy etc.

Added some more items.

Thinking about going brushless? Now is the time.

might be interested in the BL lazer....waiting on pics to be posted.

Bump for the morning crew.

SD let me know if you decide to sell the lazer as a roller I'm getting the itch to run some dirt again ;)

Kyosho Lazer is now available in roller form. See first post for updated prices, discount will be given for multiple items.

PM coming your way Fishy.

Dom,
before you send the batts..
would any of those motors be good for an E-maxx BL conversion?
and what's a good ESC for that type of application? actually is the mamba maxx ESC a decent one or is it really junk?

The mamba max is a good controller. When running anything higher than a 2 cell lipo, you'll want to run a fan on the heat sink. The Novak 25mm fans fits perfectly. When running higher than a 3 cell lipo, you'll want to run a UBEC.

What kind of gearing options do you have for the e-maxx? The 7XL is a very torquey motor but requires a high cell count. The others I have for sale are too small for a monster truck application.

well right now the chassis, tranny, ESC and motor are the only stock parts left and I'm going to use those hurricane packs with the stock setup for the time being....I want to make it brushless but not one of those 80mph deals...I'd rather have a nice torque setup to play with...I have one 4800 orion LiPo pack and plan on getting another for this rig after I go BL.....now what ESC (price range) would you recommend with that 7XL...gearing hasn't been purchased yet as I'm not sure what ratio I should go with....basically, Mold me o' BL PhD holder....LOL....

The cheapest route is to run the Mamba Max with a UBEC. The next controller that I would recommend is a Quark 125B. The Quark will set you back at least $250 vs $170 for the MM w/ UBEC. Both should handle the amp draw from an e-maxx just fine, it's pretty lightweight compared to some of the brushless conversions out there. They also have the flexibility of running higher cell counts in the future should you want more speed.

The Novak HV Maxx is also a very nice set-up for the e-maxx, and if you plan on eventually running twin 4800 platinum packs I would say the Novak is the easiest route.

sounds like I have the info i wanted....I'll be going the novak route.....thank you again...do I still need` the UBEC with novak?

No UBEC necessary to run with the Novak set up. It can handle up to 14 cells (16.8 volts)

I see it will handle 4 Lipo Cells...If I run the max on Lipo cells is it good practice to run one or is that just overkill?
