Mounting my fantom pipe on my tmaxx

My 2 fantom pipes came in today.
I have a question.

Have any of you ever used one on a tmaxx??
It is a tight fit between the receiver box and the header.
I was thinking I might need to cut down the header, but the 2.5 header is pretty short.

Any suggestions or pics??

Also, did you use the stock piece of wire that came with the tmaxx??

I think I can see a way to cut it and use it for the fantom as well.

any help would be appreciated.

It may be a tight fit but that is th eway it is, if it is to tight then you will have to cut the header but only cut a small bit and then try to put the pipe on,

how much of the header is a small bit?? 1/8th inch.. 1/4 inch??

1/8 of an inch is all I would take off at a time
