Hey my motormounts are striped... what should i do go to a bigger thread? or use a longer screw and a bolt?

Is it the stock mount, or an aftermarket?
You can tap out the threads to a larger size if you have a tap and die set, or take it to a machine shop and get them to do it for you, although it may cost more than it's worth if they charge you. It's such a simple job that they might not. If it's the stocker it's made of cast aluminum, so if you do it yourself, take it slow. The aluminum will be much more brittle than billet.

I'd give it a try then. Worst that can happen is you break it and then have to buy one, but that should only be if you try to rush it. You can use a drop of oil or a little WD40 in the holes first to aid in cutting the threads.

I just broke out my T and D set to cut some spare turnbuckles until my TI's come in. Worked like a charm.

Good luck
