As it says who makes the most durable engine i was reading a mag that stated some racers were getting 10-12 gallons out of there itailian engines ? Now i do find a racer getting that much hard to believe but maybe a backyard basher yes ...

so has anyone got this kind of longevety (sp) out of there engines if i had to pay 300 buck for a Engine that would last 10 gallons ... hum only used 1 gallon nitro last year so thats 10 years :) just want to see what everyone thinks some food for thought

i used 4.5 gal last year, in a os 15.hyper, still running strong..

It take about 2-3 gallon of fuel to really break in those Italian engines. I mean really break in the engine. The first 10 tanks allow you to abuse the engine, but it's still not fully broken in. I wouldn't be suprise if they get 10 gallon out of a novarossi engine...:OMG:

I dont have that much experience with italian engines, but if you take care of any engine it should last a long time. :)

Are we talking Novarossi's? And how much power does the stock
os .12 in the Nitro RS4 Racer 2 make?(I just bought one, I'm curious)

Yes we are talking about Novarossi and other high end engine from Italy. Which OS do you have?
