i was playin with my revo and then it stoped and it wouldnt go anywhere, then i took the body off and when i cut the engine off it got really loud and then the throttle went back to normal position. i started it back up and it ran normally but it wouldnt go in reverse, insted it would rev and then i found that the right front driveshaft broke again! but i dont think the driveshaft is the only problem...o yeah and when i breaked the back wheels would slide and the fronts would roll please help!!

If your front drive shaft is broke, that would explain why when you apply the brakes the front wheels continue to roll.

yeah, i just found that out, i called traxxas and everything. part of the problem is that little foward/reverse pin that goes in and out the tranny.

yeah, i just went to hobbytown and the reverse gear is stripped and the servo isnt returning to the right position and we left it there so they could fix the truck, its about two hours of work you have to take out the whole tranny and driveshaft

Thats 2 hours of great knowledge your passing up. Even tho breaking parts are a PITA, I still look forward to it on all my trucks because then I have an excuse to upgrade them. On RTR Trucks, such as the Revo, its also a good excuse to rip it apart and learn what goes where and how its all put together. Makes trouble shooting problems in the future MUCH easier to find and fix when you've spent some time tooling on the truck.

I agree with Mike, I realize that its different for everyone, But I really forward to the "wrenching"......The best way to understand how these puppies work is to "dig right in". If you have ever built a scale model..they are alot like that, with the exploded views. Plus there are "picture" how to's and other resources all over the net...as well as this board. Anyway, I hope you get your Revo back soon and are back on the road...
