Isn't the King Sling just an LMT basically?

King sling has a longer chassis. I almost got one myself but it’s way too costly to convert it over to a grave digger or son uva digger

So I saw a carbon chassis for the LMT. Is that all you would need to convert a King Sling to a LMT? Just curious what all it would take.

That’s very good question, I’m honestly not 100% sure as I am pretty new to this style RC myself. I do believe the king sling has longer links and driveshafts so that may play into effect. There’s a YouTube video of someone converting their king sling to a lmt grave digger. This is my “proof” a new lmt may be coming…

It's classified as a mega truck. Most of the parts are larger and longer

While looking at the starfighter chassis I came across this blurb also

Also note - these are specific to the King Sling/Bog Hog version of the LMT as the shock angles are different to accommodate the longer wheelbase on those trucks versus the stock LMT Grave Digger.

Well, couldn't you just stick MT tires on a King Sling then?

Yes you can. Plenty of people have done it

yes and no, i am able to run it in the open class by swapping tires, but i can't run it in retro, sport mod, pro mod, or lmt spec class, if i get a digger or similar, i can run that truck in 2 other classes potentially\
giving me a total of 4 classes with 2 trucks.

Solid axle MT racing class rules are oddly specific, unfortunately. It always depends on the clubs’ rule set.
