I took my 5 year old to the Superbowl of Motorsports Monster Jam last weekend. We had a great time!!! His eyes lit up when we walked in to the pits and he saw the Grave Digger there. While in the pits I found a few of the trucks had RC versions of there trucks sitting on the tires of the actual 1:1 trucks. Heres a few pics...

The Madusa and Gun Slinger were both T-Maxxes, and the Digger was a Clod based custom tuber.

Our seats were awesome! Front row upper level, no obstruction of the track at all. So I decided to break out the old Canon Eos 1n camera, and the 300mm lens. I blasted off a few rolls but ya all are gonna have to wait for those pics another few days, sorry, lol.
 
Great Photos NC!

One of our local R/C clubs does intermission entertainment at the Monster Jam (Charleston, WV). They didn't sign up this year due to lack of support. Although through the local forum a few guys are going. They drive their stuff off the MX ramps and get to hang on the floor with the 1:1 (are monster trucks 1:1???)

My little boy still doesn't like loud noises...but next year we are there!

Bashing in front of 8-10K people...pretty cool!

me, my fiance, truthseeker, his gf, my dad, and my brother are going this weekend. it will be in houston and we got GREAT deals on ticket club seats to. ill take my digi cam but i doubt i can get any good pics with it. i may break out the fiances minolta and 80-300 zoom lens.

man its gonna be SWEET!! i love the freestyle stuff. its like our bashes but HUGE!!! lol
 
The freestyle portion is my favorite. Dennis Anderson in Grave Digger was totally outrageous during his freestyle. If you get a chance to see the Orlando Jam on Speed definately take the time to watch it.
 
Sweet pics NC. That Gravedigger clod looks great. You would think they would just stick a GD lid on it but it looks like they put some thought into it.
 
Has there been any Monster Truck Jams for R/Cs? If all goes well, a Monster Truck Jam will be in Toronto. Using feather-light Balsa wood to make all the Campers, Cars, Trucks, Boats, CN Tower, Eiffel tower, and whatever else, to smash with R/C MT. Its a Freestyle Event just like 1:1.
 
wow. sounds like a good time. the closest I've got to them was watching them on t.v can't wait for the pics
