:tank: Well it sure wasn't a very long segment, maybe 2 minutes but it sure did show that the Savage can take a huge jump, land poorly. rock/roll/tumble and endo back to its wheels, shuck NO parts and keep runnin, all on pavement. COOL!!!:madface: Saw an awful lot of outstanding equipment and accessories at the show in the Windy this weekend.. Talked to the HPI reps who were very helpful and informative. Was all set to go for the Savage 21 but with the other upgrades and the 25 engine I'll have to wait till the 25 is out. October sure seems along way off though.:n00bie: Newbie question: What is ABC construction as it refers to the piston sleeve? Thanks Later Ric
 
ABC means aluminum Brass Chrome

it is the materials that the P/S is made out of..... Piston is aluminum sleeve is brass with a chrome cover (I guess) on the inside.......


and That was a cool episode until I learned HPI gave them all savages and that they were talking about selling them for 100 bux each..... someone really doesn't know what kind of value they have on thier hands here......
 
Ill take two...

ABC is Aluminum Brass Chrome and the savage is not abc. Its ABC according to HPI but its Aluminum Brass SOmthing...if you read on the savage box-it tells you more.
 
i saw monster garage too they didnt show much of the savage altough the jump at the end was very cool that was worth watching monster garage

On the side of the normal box stands: Nitro star 21 BB engine (ABC) with slide carb. alu heatsink engine head. Cast alu heavy duty engine mount
