I am in really torn on continuing or dropping my Storm Project. I personally like restoring rides. I have done a TMAXX, MGT, Savage and now this Storm... this rig needs parts STILL. I bought this cheap thinking it wouldn't be all that much but the more I tore it apart..I starter regretting it. New pro chassis... screw kit.. New Diffs F/R/ and much more.

Steering is in need o replacement.... and I can't bring myself to put the crappy ones in.. Got new stuff like a wing, bodym rims and tires... The list can keep going.

I am surfing Ebay to get the lowest prices but I just can't get this dang thing finished. Am I being to picky to put this thing back together? Or should I just give up?

Frustrated in Cali....

I say stick with it. Its like poker, your pot committed now. Just remember theres no rush on getting it done. (I dont think so anyway). Ya can always put it on hold and come back to it when the "Itch" is there for it again.

will it ever be done eddy!? that thread almost made me want a boat, but i just dont have much place to run it once its done.

Jon, I know you have been at this for some time, but if you give up now, I think you will be letting your self down, and regretting it later. I say stick with it bro..Just think of the satisfaction you will have at the end, when she is all complete. Heck...for right now just put it away and and don't think about it for awhile. Enjoy your Revo and your others right now. Then come back to it when your feeling better about it. I dont think you have a time limit on it, yes its taken awhile, but you are one who enjoys the hobby alot and this is what it is all about.

I used to have a storm (one of the first released), and outside of the weak plastics used in the first runs, it was an awesome car, once all the plastics were replaced.

Stick with it amigo, once you finish it, it'll make ya proud. They handle like they're on rails.
