Is there a way to open a ele. motor and remove windings to make it a lower turn motor?

ex. make a 14 turn motor a 10 turn?

I dont have the money for a lower turn motor right now and I'm tired of only doing 28mph.

If you have a modified motor, then yes it is possible. Modified motors are the kind where you can open up the endbell and obviously mod it with many things like new brushes, springs, etc. I believe they also sell the rotors that have the different number of turns, because I know my Drift Meister has a rotor with 15T because it's labeled 15T. So I would think you'd be able to change it.

ya this would be helpful for me also, is there a way to remove a few wounds/turns?

I just wanna take a few wineds off my existing motor.
I have a P-94 14x3 and i've taking it off to true the armature.
But can i take some wire off to make it, say a 10x3 motor?
