Up for sale is my prized posession its a picco 26 outlaw by Eb Mods, I ran this motor on my Savage and it would out run all the other savages around it. But I sold the savage so the motor has to go! It has about a gallon of 20% through it and still has awesome compression and it is very easy to tune. I'm open to offers of Lst stuff or 125 shipped. You will not be dissappointed with this engine all of the internals have been polished if interested please email [email protected] thanks for looking!

Why are the needles about to fall out? For cleaning and pics I hope.

That was when I first got it and was tryin to make it fit my revo, It is well tuned now and works excellent on a savage

Scared me! MT guys, these engines are beasts, and EB Modded!!!! It will blow away most if not all new stock engines. Wish I had a use for it. I'd keep that and use it in the LST, no way I'd sell it.

How would this run compared to a hpi 5.9 & 4.6? I'm thinking about a picco to put in my X and taking the 5.9 out.

It is better quality, it would kill the 4.6 no doubt. For 125 you can't go wrong if it has been run properly.
It will have a LOT of topend that's for sure. I'd run this one geared 16/47 or 17/49 in a Savage with a 2-speed. It should wheelie on demand as well. Once you experience a good Italian engine with the right pipe, you'll never want to touch another Axial.
There really is no comparison.
I have a Picco .21 and had 4 Axial 4.6 engines, exactly the same as the K4.6. Axial makes the K4.6 and the 5.9.... I put one Axial in a Jammin truggy, then the Picco just to compare. The Picco .21 flat out outran the Axial from bottom to top, by a big margin. All testing was done on the same truck, same day, same fuel, same gearing. I tried a few different pipes on the Axial, nothing could make it run with the Picco.
These .26's have a reputation for being brutal right out of the box. They only dropped it because the market was going towards bigger is better..which of course is not true always.
EB Mods is one of the premier engine modders, 125 probably barely covers the work he did to it. It willl make more power all over and be smoother in the delivery of it.

Thanks Scrogg

You sir are correct this picco is the best running and baddest motor I have owned and I have had revos savages you name it but I'm selling it to buy another lst2 and yes it will out run my friends 5.9 hands down he refused to race me with that picco when I had it on my savage x. As far as taking care of it every few weeks I took it off my savage and cleaned it well and it never saw above 260 most of the time it ran around 240 hope that answers some of everyones questions

Almost forgot it did fit the revo with the new era mount but it was to fast and really hard to control

YW, if it's here still next week I may take it off your hands, I can cut the crank starter pin off and put a regular backplate on it that I already have!
240-260F on 20% fuel is totally normal operating temps, it's not even done breaking in!

How many gallons would you say these motors are good for Scrogg cause I heard they would last forever but not really sure, Hard to believe its not broken in yet though

My .21 has 6-7 gallons, maybe more. Never been pinched. Replaced the bearings 3 times, the rod just got replaced around 5 1/2 gallons. I run 30% fuel with 9-10% oil, temps 190-240ish.
I do not know if EB Mods put high grade ceramics in that engine or not. He should have. If he did not, put a set in it at two gallons and you'll be set for a while. I'd keep a close eye on the bearings. Things get ugly quick if they develop slop. That's why I had to replace my rod. High grade ceramics are the way to go. They free up the engine sooo much!
Picco's are capable of going 10+ gallons, with proper maintenance.

Picco Sold
