I picked it up tonight!!! It's had a gallon of fuel ran thought it and looks pretty new. It ended up being $275 but came with the upgrades plus 3 spur gears and some spare parts and almost a full gallon of fuel...
The 2 stage air filter has not been installed and I got about 15 filters with it. The manifold had cracked on the stock pipe and today was the first time it had been run with the new pipe.... The guy hesitated selling it once we got it tuned up with the new pipe..
I'll get some pics up tomorrow. I'm very stoked...

Get pics up if ya' can! I wanna' see this beast. The Revo is one of my favorite rigs. :)

I'll have to do a little rigging on the air filter, turns out it doesn't fit but no big deal.I will most likely be changing out the springs for the stiffer set. I adjusted the ride height on the rear last night. It seemed to be a little low for my taste.
I'll be firing this thing up here shortly and I'll try and get some action shots.. I like the yellow also but will be wanting to customize the look where soon.

That thing is in great shape. Awesome body. :D Real good deal. Also, if I were you, I'd probably keep it a bit lower. It will prevent it from rolling a bit.

I know I'm a newbie On this site so I can't post in the clasified adds, But I have revo T maxx slash slayer and savage custom painted bodies all brand new. My brother is painting a couple right now but if anybody is interested let me know and I can get whatever you want scemed up. Monster energy, fox racing, Snapon, Matco Famous, DC you name it we can paint it all on the inside and 100% profesional. some will be on ebay soon but heres a chance to save the hassel

As you can see in those pictures, they are very similar. The only thing I notice different is the pipes, shocks, and air filters. I don't know a whole lot about the Revo though, but the deal on the 5309 sounds pretty good. It's not outdated at all really, and I know you can easily get parts for it still. Now on the Platinum, you add the wing, and wing mount, a different air filter, the different pipe, shocks, forward only, new tires, wheels, red rods (forget the name), a bigger fuel tank, sway bars, a different chassis, and better electronics. It also requires a starter box while the 3.3 would use an EZ Start.

I remember this thread the first time around, why drag it out from all the dust and cobwebs of the cellar or attic ??

Ok, I have a revo 5309 it has the two stage air filter (the pink one) the resanator pipe (the shiny chrome one) dual steering servo. I think I gotta 5308.5. Lol
