Ok, Nitrohouse has Jp Modified engines that not only differ in port #'s, but also in long, or short stroke. Looking for pros, and cons of each. Anyone know?

Generally more ports make more RPM, better top end. Less ports = more bottom end. As for stroke, the p5 and some of the other race engines that are good on tighter tracks have great bottom end...not sure if it's because of the stroke or porting....hhhmmmm.

more ports/short stroke=high rpm power

less ports/long stroke=low rpm grunt

std glow plug=slightly less power, linear powerband

turbo glow plug= slightly more power, more of a peaky powerband, runs a little hotter than std plugs.

hope that helps.
