Hi, I have just finished running in a Force 28 Nitro in my XT2. I have run it exclusively on a 20% Nitro mix with 13% Synthetic and 5% Castor oil. I plan to keep using this fuel in future.

I have almost a litre (approx 800ml) of 16% Nitro with 10% Synthetic and 5% Castor oil that I don't want to waste.

Can I use the 16% in the engine as it is and if so will I need to change the mixture settings?

As an alternative, can I mix the 16% with the 20% and run that and if so what ratio should I use and again, would I need to change the mixture settings?

Thanks,

I've heard that it can be really rough on the bearings. But I've also heard that a little tuning is all that's needed. Some people change fuel often. To get the best price or some have to buy whatever's available. I've changed fuels a few times in my trx 2.5 and have never had any issues.

ask around to speed shops ect see if any racers will sell you some methanol. use that to reduce nitro %. about oil any thing above 12% is more than you need. just my ideas. a real expert may say different.
