i got my revo 3.3 and i just noticed it didnt come with neither the battery pack or 4 cell holder what should i do ?!?!?!:(

Did you get it from a hobby shop? If you did, see if they where supposed to supply them. If not, just pick up a nice nimh rx pack and charger.

i got it brand new factory sealed I'm geussing the factory forgot to put the battery in? if i call them will they send me one for free?

if it was supposed to be an included item with everything that came with your truck then traxxass will do the right thing and send one out to you for free. they're customer service is pretty good with things like that...

I doubt a battery pack was supposed to be in there but there should have been a 4 AA cell holder. If it was new, check the contents list and notify who you bought it from if there are any missing items.

I know the new Revo models don't come with the rechargeable battery pack, which I don't agree with. But I think you're right it should have at least come with a holder for alkaline batteries.

i got the model 5309 brand new factory sealed from my hobbyshop and on the box and in the manual it says there should be a 5cell hump pack i went to my hobbyshop they shaid they can't do anything because the item was factory sealed and they never touched anything and they also said tht traxxas could send me a new one free of charge if i call them

Mine is only about 1 1/2 years old and it came with rechargeable flat pack and charger.

Should have had something

If it was a sealed box you got, then it should have also come with a manual who's first page or two should have listed out each item that should have been included in the kit. I believe the 4 cell AA holder is supposed to have been in there, it's what came with my 5308. However they are a pain in the butt. They hold the batteries very tight and if you land hard on the nose or tail, the batteries shift and break contact, meaning you now have to shut down, pull the cover, adjust batteries, replace cover and go again....at least while it's new...after a few scratches and bashes, you'll just pick up about 4 feet in the air and drop in all four to seat the batteries again. In either case, get a receiver pack and install it. it will be the last time you pull that cover off to mess with batteries again. Well worth the couple of bucks it takes for the batt and charger. Make sure you get the right one. i almost ordered a sub c pack by mistake and fortunately was saved by this forum. Also different models of revo's use different packs. my 5308 uses a 5cell flat pack and fits perfectly even though the manual shows a hump pack. If you have access to a LHS, just take your car in and make sure what fits before purchasing.

Being in Iraq, the LHS is out of the question. So, once again HUGE shout out to the great guys in this forum. Have saved me from myself on more than one occasion.

+1 on the rechargeable reciever pack. I bought two for the Savage and they will long outlast all the batteries I can charge up for the radio.
