Well I have been thinking about starting a new project. I was thinking about replicating the Savage with my CNC but in doing so I would remake everything at 1:10 or 1:12 scale. I would call it my mini savage and would just be something fun to do. the big problems are tranny and bulks.. I think I would just take something from a buggy for these parts and make everything else.

What do you guys think about this idea?

it wouldnt be hard to replicate there TVP's that FLM has made, but I wouldnt want to steal there design just as I dont want to take HPI's. I will use the same hole and mounting pattern as HPI but the overall look of the TVP will be my own.

I already have the TVP's and engine mounts drawn up and ready to be sent to the machine for cutting. I have the aluminum to do it with so why the hell not.... Ill start on it this week I guess lol

Would it be possible to use 1/16 th scale drive train or 1/18th scale drive train and make it a little smaller with an O.S. cvrx or something like that.A 16th scale 4WD savage with a honking lil nitro engine that would be cool
