Mini Maxx receiver box broken

So I stopped at a new skatepark to test out my mini Maxx that I got the day before… after 7 minutes my receiver box broke where it screws in.. honestly a joke how easily it broke because I was not going hard, I was getting used to the car…

my question is will something like JB weld work on this Traxxas plastic?.. or is there a better option to try?.. right now I just put some double sided tape on it so it isn’t flopping around… open to ideas and suggestions.

Yea JB weld could work. Id get some 3m double sided tape and tape it down like that. Or if you don't run through water you can get rid of the receiver box and just tape the receiver down to the chassis.

Check the depth of that hole in the chassis. See if you can get a longer screw un there. It looks like you can. JB weld should work to glue that piece back on. But I would let that setup, then run a small drill bit down through it afterwards to clear out any epoxy that got into the hole, then put as long of a screw as you can in there.
