I was running my savage at the show on Saturday, when I noticed at WOT on asphalt it was kinda stuttering, sounded like it had a rev limiter? My question; is this an air leak? It was running alittle warm nothing far from norm. I have already had to tighten the backplate once but it didnt show these symptoms,it just wouldnt tune and wourld run like a raped ape one minute and be sluggish the next, and stayed HOT. This time its differant just wondering if it could still be an air leak? Maybe just not as bad as the first?:stupid:

Jonser it may not be a bad idea to just seal the motor if you have it out with some sensor safe sealant. Definately could be an air leak for sure. Only one way to find out though.

Then just adjust the shift point so it will and see if it still does it on those settings.

This thing has been running great. The settings were the same as the last time I ran it when it was fine a couple of days ago. If I richen it up it gets alota excess smoke and becomes sluggish then dont want to shift,it will shift eventually it just takes a football field or 2. I just want to know if an airleak will cause the "missing sound" that I am hearing at WOT?
