Hey guys. I was online the other day and found a Maxx truck running an MGT spur and clutch bell setup. Is there anything major to doing this conversion. I am looking to go that route on my Cybermaxx build. Mainly so I can run a 1/8th clutch setup. And I will be running the old black style trans, because I have one with an entire RRP gear set already installed.

Okay guys I got the MGT spur on the Cybermaxx. The spur is a 52 tooth. What clutch bell would you say would work best. The mgt uses a 17 count bell I believe. Just not sure about the Maxx gearing being close to the MGT. I would like to keep my speed about close to stock speed. This rigs going to be a basher not a speed racer.

15T bell with the 52T spur would be close to stock top speed.

What does it weight rtr, what engine, and what diameter wheels/tires?

With a good .28 sized engine you would probably want to gear up to a 17T bell to tame the torque.

wheels will be a set of deep dish at a 3.2 diameter. Not sure on a powerplant yet. I have a Mach .26 that's new and a HPI 4.1 that's new. Also have a Peak Racing .28 that's been modded. May try a 16 tooth clutch bell and pick up a 17 tooth just in case.
