Well I just got a chance to take the Mini out today and I have a problem.
It gets about 50 ft from me and it goes crazy. It went WOT and I had no control over it. It hit a curb and broke the wheel from the hub. Problem is it did it twice today. Ran WOT for about 30 sec then died.It has new batteries and I am in an open field with no one around.Any ideas ???
What damage do you think I;ve caused to the engine.? BTW It's only on it's 1st tank of nitro. Thanks Steve

Update I contacted Assoc. They advised I mail it back to them .Warranty
They believe it's eithera bad receiver/or transmitter
Waiting for UPS to pick it up

Thats good that even with the damage which occured, that Associated was willing to recieve it to diagnose and hopefully replace and fix your truck. Good Luck!

Well, WOT on a brand new engine rarely does much. They are tuned pretty rich and without a good compression seal that you end up with after break-in, they don't get to too high of RPM anyway. My guess is minimal damage if any.

Flaky electronics do suck. Could be a handful of things, so hopefully they get it sorted out for you.
