MGT 8.0 Discrepency

In the manual they gave me for the factory settings it says to put the lsn at 5 1/2 turns out with the carb out but on the following link it says to put it at 4 1/2 turns out.

I currently run it at 5 1/2 turns out and now i'm wondering why it idles rough! LOL. Has anyone had this issue with any other rc?

Factory settings are just starting points,you have to tune for what the engine needs from there. Usually those settings are rich for most engines.

The engine does run rich but its not idling right. Either its the low speed is out of adjustment or I have an air leak and needs to be sealed. I'm running rich settings on the hsn and the mixture screw and I'm still around 260. When I run it next time I'll adjust the carb and if it idles wrong then I will seal it.
