I have no idea what is wrong, my MGT had been in proper storage for about a year and a half, and after 3 hours of maintenence, got it running again, but i dont understand, i had to remove the exhaust manifold in order to change the drill starter, and then replaced it back into its previous place. The truck starts, and begins to run, but must be full throtled in order to acutally move. The truck DOES move, but with fight, could it possible be stuck in second gear, or have a planetary gear problem. Also, i cannot get the damn allignment correct, please HELP ME:(

I actually think you may wanna take your clutch apart and have a look at the shoes and springs.Typically if you start and are at WOT and barely moving it = a bad or worn clutch.

For the alignment issue you need to take your servo horn off and set the trim on your tx to neutral. Turn the tx and rx on, center your servo horn as close as possible on the servo and retighten the screw and then simply adjust your trim on the tx when you start to drive.

Good luck!!

MGT Tranny problem

Yea had that same problem with my MGT, ended up taking whole dang engine and tranny apart.never did figure out the problem but it ran fine when I puttem back together:\

Check the tightness of your slipper. It should be tightened all the way down and then backed off about 1/8 th to 1/4 turn. If the slipper is too loose the tranny won't be fully engaged and will give you your said problem.
