Okay guys whats the difference in the 8.0 MGT trans vs the 4.6 transmission? I am getting ready to start a raced out MGT build. Going with the LRP .32 so was thinking if the 8.0 trans is stronger would be a good idea to go that route.
 
Well I got the trans figured out! 8.0 trans is def a lot stronger, according to the research I have done. Just need a complete trans including the spur gear setup and drive shafts. Also seems the 8.0 trans is a tad higher geared.
 
Basically a direct drop in looks like you have to drill chassis maybe for the extra spur trans mount point! I will know for sure because as soon as the rest of my parts arrive I will be going full bore on the MGT project rig!
