Hi, I was thinking about getting the team associated mgt 3.0. my friend has a team associated rc10 and it a great little 2wd stadium truck, i just thought i would ask for you input on team associated and the mgt 3.0.

Does any1 know anything about the mgt 3.0...???
 
I just got mine in the mail yesterday, I haven't broken it in yet but it looks very well made. aside from the rumors that it may be discontinued soon it was highly reccomended by my LHS and a few others I asked. I found a good review a while back. Check it out here:

My mgt 3.0 radio system suxxs, it shuts off while I'm driving and then turns back on., i need help can't figure it out...,,,????

I bought a synth FM radio and a ofna fail safe and haven't had a problem since. Still using the factory servos I have had mine about a year and i just now bent a front drive shaft dogbone they seem pretty sturdy to me. Look for the Airtronics MX 3 Synth. fleabay usually has them under a hundred bucks

Well I finally Broke mine in today and I had a similar problem as you. What I noticed is my Transmitter was actually shutting off/on. I Don't know if your having the same problem... What I Finally figured out though was the some of the - Battery tabs in the transmitter were not making a good contact. So I took a flathead and bent them out a bit, re-installed the batteries and so far so good. I ran it for about another hour with no problems. I hope that helps.

Side note: this is the third engine I have broken in and I must say it is by far the easiest! I had it broken in and tuned perfectly by the 5th tank. Engine runs right at 205-215 with plenty of power. Only problem I have is my wheels wobble... Everything is tight and straight. Anyone else have this problem?? Overall though it's a great little truck.

Well after Dwelling on it, I think I figured out what the wobble is. The tires are so soft and I think the tires got deformed from sitting in the box. I placed the truck on my stand and spun the wheels. The rims are smooth but the tires are out of round... O well I'll buy some new tires later, It shouldn't matter too much just driving the truck in the dirt...
 
I took my engine apart and sealed the carb and the backplate with high temp gasket sealer. I also added a new ofna air filter a bit bigger than the stock one hopefully it will help it breath a bit better. and put new fuel line and a fuel filter on it. it will be completely ready to go this evening. I'll report back for the results of the mods.
