Metal Transmission gears?

Where can i get metal transmission gears for the T-Maxx?

reason being...i just stripped out mine as well as the spur gear. But i just replaced the spur gear so its fine now...please help

I would look on ebay,there are usually some real good deals there.Look up rcboys on ebay,they always have those gears on there at a real good price.It will cost about $175.00 to do the whole tranny.You will need 1 primary forward and 1 primary reverse,2 forward output gears-one for forward and one for reverse and then a two speed topshaft"usually these are steel",and the rest are usually aluminum.Hope that helps ya.RUSS

Do yourself a favor if you have reverse and get a forward only conversion. The 1st and second gear are avialible from OTB Technologies! Found those the other day. Expensive, but if you are stripping those gears often, its worth it.

are you saying that if i get metal gears...i wont have a reverse???

i really enjoy using reverse when i bump into something or i need to turn around in a small area.

No, but the forward only conversion makes the truck accelerate so much more smooth. No more clicking or lurching forward at partial throttle. But, if you like reverse, you will need to primary gears instead of one that comes in most packages.
